DUTIES, TAXES AND INCOTERMS POLICY

 

1. Prices and Taxes within the European Union

For orders shipped to European Union member states, prices displayed on the website include VAT, where applicable.

No customs duties are due for shipments within the European Union.

The total amount payable by the Customer is clearly indicated at checkout.

2. Shipments to Selected Non-EU Countries (DDP – Delivered Duty Paid)

For shipments to:

  • United States of America

  • Canada

  • United Kingdom

  • South Korea

Orders are shipped under DDP – Delivered Duty Paid (Incoterms® 2020), unless otherwise specified at checkout.

Under DDP terms:

  • Import duties, customs clearance fees and applicable taxes are included in the purchase price;

  • Rboutique.com assumes responsibility for customs clearance;

  • No additional charges will be requested from the Customer upon delivery.

If, due to customs reclassification or regulatory changes, additional charges are unexpectedly imposed, Rboutique.com will manage such cases in accordance with applicable law.

3. Shipments to All Other Non-EU Countries (DAP – Delivered At Place)

For shipments to countries not listed above, orders are shipped under DAP – Delivered At Place (Incoterms® 2020), unless otherwise stated during checkout.

Under DAP terms:

  • The Customer is considered the importer of record;

  • Import duties, VAT, local taxes, customs fees and administrative charges are not included in the product price;

  • Such charges are payable by the Customer upon delivery or as required by local authorities.

These charges are determined exclusively by the customs authorities of the destination country and are outside the control of Rboutique.com.

The Customer is responsible for verifying in advance any applicable import restrictions, duties or local tax obligations.

4. Refusal of Shipment or Failure to Clear Customs

If the Customer:

  • Refuses delivery of the goods;

  • Fails to pay import duties or taxes;

  • Fails to provide required documentation for customs clearance;

Rboutique.com reserves the right to deduct from any refund:

  • All shipping costs (including return shipping);

  • Customs duties and import taxes charged to Rboutique.com;

  • Storage fees and administrative costs;

  • Any additional carrier handling fees.

Refunds will be issued only after the goods have been returned and inspected, and will be processed net of the above amounts.

5. Checkout Transparency 

In accordance with international ecommerce best practices and payment provider requirements (including Shopify Payments, Stripe and PayPal):

  • The applicable Incoterm (DDP or DAP) is determined by the shipping destination;

  • Where available, duties and taxes may be calculated at checkout using third-party tax calculation services;

  • The Customer is informed before completing the purchase whether additional charges may apply at delivery.

By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the applicable Incoterm and related customs responsibilities.
